How To ORDER + EAT Delicious Street Food in Thailand (Travel Guide)

Do you enjoy street food and local cuisine? Or do you shy away from it? This street food guide will help you to learn more about this unique culture.

Here in Chiang Mai Thailand the street food scene is amazing and so I thought I would make a travel guide of sorts today to share my Top 7 tips on how to order and how to eat street food safely every time!

My 7 Top Tips to Ordering and Eating Street Food -
1 - Do a walk around, see what's on offer, see where is busy or full with the most locals (usually a very good sign), and see what the locals are eating (be a little noisy).
2 - Use your senses, lf it looks and smells amazing, chances are it will be!
3 - Avoid foods that look to be sitting out (places that cook to order are your best option).
4 - Choose a vendor that specializes on one or just a handful of dishes. Chances are they are extremely skilled and experienced in cooking the dish perfectly every time.
5 - Avoid getting too experimental too early... break yourself in slowly, don't order something to extreme, let your tummy adapt to the flavors and spices over time.
6 - Do your research before hand... what dishes are famous in that area? Make a list of food you want to try, learn what's in them, and try to find out where is most recommended.
7 - Save room for dessert!
