Meet The Characters: Thor, Charlie, Jubari, Neige, Ndira and Lola | The Lion Whisperer. Hey Lion Whisperer Family, this is our largest pride so we’ve gone ahead and made this video into a two-part series, with part two airing in early October! Kevin Richardson starts the day in the best way possible when he bumps into some elephants, hyenas, and giraffes whilst on his way to film this video! Kevin introduces us to the pride but then goes into a more in-depth introduction on lions Thor, the oldest lion of the pride and the beautiful Ndira (Indy). The Kevin Richardson Wildlife Sanctuary’s mission is to provide a self-sustaining African carnivore sanctuary for the purposes of wild species preservation through education, awareness, and funding, especially pertaining to the rapid decline of large carnivores in Africa due to habitat loss, human-predator conflict, unscrupulous hunting, disease, and their illegal trade.

On this channel, The Lion Whisperer films the majority of his footage using a GoPro camera, allowing viewers to get as close as possible to the lions, leopards, and hyenas at the sanctuary.

Kevin Richardson hopes to provide viewers insight into the lives of these beautiful creatures and in turn, by watching the videos on the channel, viewers will be directly contributing to the conservation of these majestic animals.
