A new outstanding uneven bars release was submitted at the 2024 Cottbus World Cup by China’s Zhang Yihan: it consists of a clear hip circle with counter layout over the high bar to hang — commonly known as a Laid-Out Shang or a Clear Hip Nabieva. It received a G-rating from the Technical Committee, becoming one of the highest-rated elements on this apparatus and Yihan’s first eponymous skill in the Code of Points.
