ABOUT
If you like Harry Potter as much as I do, you´re in for a treat because in this lesson, we´ll be learning  Russian with the first Harry Potter movie. The scene I´ve selected takes place on Christmas in Hogwarts and hopefully will get you in the holiday spirit.
 
Just a reminder that all December on this channel we´ll be watching Christmas movies in Russian with Russian subtitles and this is already the second lesson for this special Christmas edition of my series Learn Russian with movies.  The links to other lessons are in the description.
 
You´ll watch the clip three times. First, with Russian subtitles. Then, we’ll look at each phrase individually. I´ll read it to you in slow Russian a couple of times, you´ll see the English translation on the screen and I´ll explain the most difficult words and phrases.  Finally, we’ll watch the clip again but this time without Russian subtitles. By then, you should be able to easily understand most of what is said in the movie.
