Selfridges is so much quieter compared to how it used to be pre-pandemic. This is probably one of the reasons that the owner, the Weston family is seeking to sell it. However, it is a lot busier than the day it was voluntarily closed for business on the 18th March 2020, right before the official lockdown. Below is the short video I took on the 18th when everything in the food hall was scooped up by bargain hunters, including myself.
