Cade’s Cove Great Smoky Mountains Tennessee 2020 | Loop Rd, Bears, & Campground Store

Visited the highly popular Cade’s Cove that’s located in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The Cove is definitely full of wildlife and nature with a calming stillness surrounding the valley. We traveled the Cove Loop Rd. that consists of 11 miles of beautiful scenery of rolling hills, diverse vegetation, and the towering Smoky Mountains. The road is single lane one way with plenty of pull off areas to take it all in. If you’re fortunate, you’ll have the opportunity to witness bears, we seen 8, but be cautious and courteous, these are wild animals and they are protective of young and of themselves. Please stay no less than 50 yards of all wildlife is highly recommended.

*****Also there is restrooms at the campground check-in/store and the visitors center at the half way point on the
Loop Rd. There is also no cell phone service throughout the Cove.
