Path's End - Dear

Path's End loses another life.
Based off The Remains, my friend's RP. I sketched this in like an hour.
Explanation and context:

Path's End is leader of the cats in the Remains, and was given 9 lives to lead them. Lately cats have been recieving prophecies and dreams of fire, and of losing their lives. Knowing that she will not be able to save everyone, her health declines and she loses a life as a result.

In the stars, she meets her deceased mate, Mountain Shadow, who is concerned for her health. Path's End shares her grief, and wonders why she should bother trying if everyone is going to die anyway.

Mountain Shadow explains to her, as all of their deceased children appear before her, and tells her to live when they didnt get the chance to, and to live for her children that are still alive. "It could have been you."

Its a little bit non-canon, but oh well
