A gas pipeline explosion tore through the Hattar Industrial Estate in Pakistan’s Haripur district, triggering a massive fire that killed at least eight people and injured several others.

The video from the scene showed residents fleeing as towering flames engulfed the area, while ambulances and rescue teams rushed in as firefighters worked to contain the blaze.

According to local media, those killed included three children and two elderly women. Several others were injured, with some reported to have suffered severe burns and smoke inhalation.

The pipeline, operated by Sui Northern Gas Pipelines, exploded near a factory inside the industrial estate in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. The cause of the blast remains unclear, though initial reports suggested high gas pressure may have been a factor.
