Seasonal Job in Alaska - Episode One

Made it to Alaska!
My name is Brian. I live on the road full time in my self built camper van. Join me on my adventures.
*In this video I depart from Maine where I will be storing my camper van for the next 2 months. I fly to King Salmon, Alaska where I am picked up by the company I am working for during salmon season. They drive me into Naknek, Alaska where the cannery is located. I will be working as a deckhand on a salmon tender boat. Pay is by the day for the whole duration I am there. The job will be about 50 days. Food and meals are provided and I am living on the boat. So far it has been a great experience and I am enjoying working with the captain and the other deckhand. The captain of the boat has been watching my videos for the last couple years and reached out to me and offered me the job. I am grateful for the opportunity to gain a new skill set and make some good money to fund more van life adventures!
