GIANT Indian Fruit Bat - Creature Feature!

Welcome back, Creatures! Today, in the spirit of Halloween, I have for you a Creature Feature with one of my favorite animals to work with, the Indian Fruit Bat, or 'Flying Fox'.

**Disclaimer**
This bat is a captive bred bat. He wasn't poached ,smughled, or taken from the wild. That said, I don't endorse bats as pets (he's not a pet) and it's extremely important NOT to handle any wild bats you may encounter, as they *can* carry rabies in many countries.

If you find an injured bat, the best thing to do is call your local animal rehab center, where they can instruct you on how best to proceed with rescue, in line with your state and national laws.
