Don't Waste Urea Nitrogen Fertilizer On The Lawn This Year

Urea nitrogen is a hybrid organic nitrogen source that is commonly used in lawn fertilizers. It only works when their is biological life that is active in a lawn meaning it is highly dependent on air/soil temps, aerated soil, and microbial life.

If you are going to apply a fertilizer to your lawn that includes a significant portion of Urea nitrogen then you will be best served by waiting until environmental conditions are ideal so as to limit waste and pollutants into the water system.
