EastEnders' Heather Peace reveals secret cancer battle: Today my chemotherapy journey ended
It has felt like such a personal shift.

The actor, who plays Eve Panesar-Unwin on the BBC soap, confirmed via Instagram that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer back in October, with the star sharing a video of a wig fitting to demonstrate the important part of her recent journey.

I’ve been on quite a road for many months now, she wrote. I was diagnosed with breast cancer at the beginning of October. Since then I’ve undergone surgery and recovery over the Christmas period and today my chemotherapy journey ended.
