Finding Heliacal Rising of Fixed Stars

The heliacal rising of fixed stars is an important moment in the Sun's apparent yearly journey around the Earth where a star makes its first appearance in the hours before dawn after having been covered up by the Sun's great light for several days or weeks. Heliacal rise dates have been used in astrology and in cultural calendars to mark important dates and signify the commencement of various activities or celebrations. Unfortunately, determining the time of these heliacal rises is somewhat tricky as they vary from location to location. Thankfully, I've found a program that will help us to do just that and am happy to share it with you all and walk through its UI so that you can use it as well!
