"Champions: a Love Story" ~ A 10 Minute Tribute To The Film Starring Jimmy McNichol & Joy Le Duc

Based on a true story, this beloved made for television film starring Jimmy McNichol (Kristy's brother) and Joy LeDuc from 1979 was very similar in story to "Ice Castles" starring Robby Benson.Two teens become romantically involved as they train for a skating championship. Shirley Knight and Tony Lo Bianco and oddly enough Jennifer Warren (of "Ice Castles") costar. A tearjerker in every sense of the word, this highly sought after film features terrific skating and a really nice love story. i hope you enjoy this tribute to the film.
