Shillelagh: Wilderness Survival War Club!

Hi folks, today I’m going to craft an improvised survival war club. Let’s get started.

An improvised warclub is simple to construct if you have a saw and a hatchet. First I found a forked branch that is at least 20 inches long and 2 inches in diameter. Then using my trusty Bahco Laplander Saw, I sawed off the basic form of the War Club. Then using my hatchet, I quickly removed the major knots from the handle, then I debarked the entire club. Finally I chopped the head of the club until it became a dull point. Finally I capped the rim of the point such that the wooden point would not splinter when I strike with the club.

The war club took just 10 minutes to construct, let’s see how it works. This weapon breaks 3 inch thick hard wood like twigs. The war club shatters 2 inch thick serpentine stone slabs like eggshells. Overall I’m very impressed with the power of this self defense tool. This will definitely come in handy in a survival situation. Anyways thanks a bunch for watching if you like this video and want to see more please share like and subscribe to my channel. Until next time!
