DRUGS, ANXIETY, SHAME | My Christian Testimony| HOW I GOT FREE| EMOTIONAL| relationship with Jesus

This is my testimony. This is the story of why I am who I am today and how I got here! It is the most important thing to me. I use to live in so much darkness, plagued with fear, guilt, and shame. I went to drugs and alcohol to numb and cope. I went to relationships and boys to satisfy me. Eventually, it all ran out. The world around me felt DARK, icky, and scary. I had put myslef in bad situations, cut myself off from the world, and was plagued with the worst anxiety/ fear of my life. It felt like there was no way free!

Finally I stepped out into faith and started re kindling my relationship with Jesus. I bit the bullet, ripped off the band aid, took up my cross, and followed. Once I followed everything change. Listening, learning, and being loved from Jesus changed my life. I brought me into the light. Brought me out of loneliness, brought me into peace. Things are not always rainbows and butterflies over here!!!! I am still deeply flawed and constantly growing and failing, but something is different. I don't carry pain alone, I walk in light, I walk in peace, I walk free of the shame of my past, and you can too!!!!
