Mental Health Awareness Month | How NOT to talk about mental health
It is Mental Health Awareness month. Mental Health is a topic that is close to my heart and today we are talking about how NOT to talk about mental health.
I have ADHD, ASD-characteristics and PTSD due to growing up in a house with a lot of emotional and physical abuse. This means that I have been struggling with mental health for a big part of my life now. Today I am sharing comments that were made to either me or others who struggle and were not helpful at all! If you struggle with mental health, know that you are not alone and please find help at your local health care center. Talking about your mental health is very important and getting the help you need will make it better. You can do this! One step at a time.
Love, Kyra 💙
