Footloose Flash Mob 2020, Santa Cruz CA

It was a spontaneous decision for many of us in Santa Cruz, who had been sheltered in place for months... longing for connection and joy, and to reap the mental health benefits of dancing and putting smiles on people's faces. We circulated a video of the dance just a week prior, invited local singer, Elizabeth Raquelle Goldberg, to add some flavor to the mix, and agreed to meet on the street, outside the downtown Farmer's Market. Our goal was to generate smiles, even if behind a masks, and have some FUN again!

We believe DANCING is for anyone, anywhere!!
