DIY Basha Tent Tarp Shelter for 6 Dollars

I built this Basha style tarp shelter for under $6.00 vs. $60.00 on ebay. I bought the tarp 5'6"W x 7'6"L at Harbor Freight on sale for $3.88. Then sewed 1" nylon webbing $1.50 for 60" to the center/edge of the ends. I saw not need for a loop on the middle top of the Basha since my area is mostly woodland and have slept under and poncho lean-to in the army and I am satisfied with that set-up. Also, I saw no need to add webbing loops at the corners/middle edges of the tarp for the same reason's above. However, it is very simple to add the loops if you desire them on yours. I've seen a lot of arguments about the weight of the Basha vs. Vinyl Tarp. In reality, it's the differents of the weight of 1 full 5.56mm or 7.62mm magazine. Not worth the argument in my opinion.
