Horrific Accident in Tampines involving Red Mercedes SKU5916J on 23 Dec 2021 (Jeremiah Ng En You)

Jeremiah Ng En You who killed a Gojek driver and injured six others while driving a Mercedes-Benz drunk was sentenced to seven years’ jail on Friday. He will also be disqualified from driving for 12 years after his release.

Update on 30 May 2023:

Ng was driving along Tampines Avenue 1, where the speed limit was 60kmh, at a speed of between 157kmh and 169kmh.

As he approached the junction at Tampines Avenue 10, he reduced his speed to between 146kmh and 156kmh, before slowing further to a speed between 122kmh and 130kmh.

As Ng was about to turn left from Tampines Avenue 1 onto Tampines Avenue 10, he lost control of his car, which was going at a speed between 92kmh and 108kmh.

He was unable to execute the left turn and instead went straight ahead, smashing through the centre divider along Tampines Avenue 10.

Update on 12 Jan 2023:

The driver of a Mercedes-Benz that crashed into four cars and a motorcyclist, killing one of the drivers, has been charged. The pre-trial conference will take place on Jan 20.

Mr Jeremiah Ng En You, 34, faces five charges involving seven victims, under the Road Traffic Act.

Another horrific accident has happened in Tampines (Junction of Tampines Ave 1 and Ave 10), Singapore on the night of 23 Dec 2021, involving a red Mercedes A180 #SKU5916J and several other vehicles.

Apparently, the red Mercedes was racing with another blue car just seconds before the driver of the red Mercedes lost control and crashed into the barrier and into the vehicles. 1 motorcyle was sandwiched in the accident. A total of 4 cars, 1 taxi and 1 motorcycle were involved in the accident. 1 died (the 59-year-old driver of the while Toyota Yaris Cross 1.5G #SNC3235M) and 4 are injured in this accident. RIP. Hope the rest will pull through.

A 33-year-old male driver was arrested for dangerous driving causing death, the police said, adding that investigations are ongoing.

Why can't people just drive carefully? Please, DO NOT DRINK AND DRIVE! The authorities should make drinking and driving illegal!

The 33-year-old driver of Red Mercedes #SKU5916J probably was speeding down Tampines Avenue 1 and lost control (understeer) at the end of the road while making a left turn to Tampines Avenue 10.
