MusicMan StingRay Special VS Fender Flea Active - Bass Battle V2

Hi everyone! A few weeks ago, I compared a Fender Flea Active to a Modulus Flea 4 bass (link in the end of this video), and I had quite a few people interested to hear a similar comparison with the Fender Flea Active and a MusicMan StingRay! So I finally made this Version 2 battle with these 2 amazing basses!

This is the brand new MusicMan StingRay Special Aqua Sparkle / Ebony, with neodymium pickups and an ebony fretboard! It's the lightest bass I've ever owned (3.6 kg). The strings on both basses are not the same, on the StingRay I have Ernie Ball Slinky Nickel 45-100 strings, and on the Fender Flea Active I have Fender 45-105 strings. Both are stock strings that come on the bass.

Like the last video, I also used the same volume, both preamps were set to neutral (bass 0 and treble 0), and also used a neutral profile with a bit of compression and reverb on both in Garageband. So these are the true sound of each bass recorded directly into Roland Edirol UA-25 soundcard.

More infos: The action (string height) and neck curvature were set almost exactly the same by me, with the E and the A very slightly higher on the StingRay due to the lighter gauge!

Let me know this time which one you like better, and if you haven't already, please watch my other comparison with the Modulus Flea!
