What to expect from a Sigur Rós concert. Absolute perfection, the sound that surrounds you, soothes you and takes you on an unforgettable journey.
Jónsi's voice is incomparable, but as someone once said, it should not be compared to anything, because it is a unique voice, someone might say - unearthly, and I would applaud the term.
My second gig with Sigur Rós (although I think the first one had more charm) and I'm absolutely blown away.

Sorry for the poor visual quality (well, it's not perfect), but I think the audio pretty well reflects what was happening at the concert.
If the names of the songs do not match, please let me know. I could never properly identify their songs, especially since they added a few new songs to the setlist.

The only thing that bothers me (I think only in Ireland) are people who come to a concert like this to have a beer (or any kind of beverage). I don't mind drinking, but I have everything against ruining the concert reception for others who really don't want to lose anything of this music feast, don't want to be torn from this world of Sigur Rós by someone who runs every 5 minutes to buy another round of beer. I think it is simply disrespectful (and maybe even manners) for people who have legally bought a ticket and just want to enjoy this event 100%.
And ... People. Sometimes it's just worthwhile to wait a few seconds before you start shouting and clapping.
Those few extra seconds (especially regarding this kind of music... melancholic, meditative) could give you absolutely different perception of a song you were listening to. It is worth to wait just a tiny bit, when music fades out and you find yourself still in this deep trance!
