The Last Home of Jerry Lewis (#259)

As a child I loved Jerry Lewis. I would watch Jerry Lewis and Dean Martin movies every time they were on TV. Jerry was a comedic genius and Dean Martin was great at playing the straight man. For some reason I have always had the feeling that he was angry and bitter later in life, I may be wrong about that but it just always felt that way to me. I think the break-up of his partnership with Dean hurt him more than he let on. I tried to be upbeat during our visit to Jerry's last home, but in reality it made me sad. Even though I have not seen one of his films in years, the child inside of me still misses him.
