Malaysia's opposition lawmakers march on parliament, demand PM Muhyiddin resigns

Malaysian opposition leaders Anwar Ibrahim and Mahathir Mohamad have marched in protest after the final session of parliament was cancelled due to several COVID-19 cases. However, the opposition said it's just another ploy for Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin to dodge a no-confidence vote. They said the Muhyiddin-led government has badly mishandled the COVID-19 pandemic that saw 1.1 million infected and over 9,000 deaths. They added that he and his ministers have misled the House and went against the King by revoking the emergency rule without a debate or vote.
