Denia Old Town Spain - Walking Tour 2021

The Old Town of Dénia has a lot of history, with its most important heritage site, Castillo de Denia. Originally a Moorish structure that was built in the 11th century. In this video I will walk around the castle hill, Carrer de Loreto, the main street in the old town, Plaça de la Constitució, where the town hall and the church of Nostra Senyora de l’Assumpció are located.
Denia is a beautiful town located in Costa Blanca, Province of Alicante, Marina Alta region, Valencian Community, halfway between Alicante and Valencia. Denia has a typical Mediterranean climate with averages of 3,000 hours of sunshine per year and average temperature of 25C. Denia and Javea are divided by the Montgó Mountain, the greatest landmark of the area and a nice place to go hiking. Denia has more than 15 kilometers of Blue Flag awarded beaches, divided into two large stretches: Las Rotas, south of the town center, and Las Marinas, in the north.
