Binary, Hexadecimal, and Decimal Conversion – Simple Explanation | Basic Electronics

If you're going to work with embedded systems or microcontrollers or practically any modern technology, you'll need to move between binary, hexadecimal, and decimal. You're going to run into binary numbers and hexadecimal numbers as well. You'll most likely use a converter working in the field, but it's important to understand how decimal (base-10), binary (base-2), and hexadecimal (base-16) work from a practical level. We decided to do our own take on this topic to go along with our video tutorials on microcontrollers.
