VAN CAMPING near a FOREST FIRE 🔥 🌲 Are We Safe Here? Should We Leave? Which Way Should We Go?

We passed a couple forest fires on the way to our next destination, but didn’t realize there were more wildfires just south of it. We desperately need to drive into Payson to replace my broken WiFi puck, but the town we have to drive through on the way is nearing an evacuation notice from the fires.

It didn’t look too bad at first, so we decided to stay and camp in the van as planned for a couple days and go on a hike nearby, but the next morning, the wind changed!
