A Song of Praise Music Festival or ASOP is the only praise songwriting festival on Philippine television of its kind. It started as church-wide biannual event of the Members Church of God International (MCGI) in 2004 and went mainstream on television and radio in 2011.

ASOP aims to bring back songs of praises in the daily lives of people. In the hope that with the help of their beautiful melodies and sincere lyrics, the songs will help remind all of God’s love for His creatures, and the great amount of trust that they can put in Him.

Produced by Breakthrough and Milestones Productions International (BMPI) ASOP airs every Sunday, 7 to 8:30 p.m., on UNTV. Hosted by Richard Reynoso and Toni Rose Gayda, the songwriting tilt is a year-round search for the best worship anthems from thousands of song entries written by inspiring talents from weekly elimination to monthly finals. These song entries were critiqued by the show’s panel of judges based on general criteria.
