A Pirate's Way of Life

Before Uber and Grab, there were pirate taxis plying the streets of Singapore. Back in the 1960s, Leong Seng Wai used to ferry passengers around the island in an illegally rented cab, making a risky living as a pirate taxi driver. Such was his way of life until stricter government regulations eventually put an end to the practice.
