In this video, I discuss why I break traditional cinematic rules when shooting with my DJI Osmo Pocket 3. I choose auto exposure over manual control, shoot at 30 frames per second instead of 24, and skip using ND filters for a more convenient point-and-shoot experience. This approach allows me to quickly capture memories on trips without fiddling with settings. I also explain the few filmmaking rules I do follow, such as using D Log M color profile and manually setting white balance, to ensure consistent and flexible footage.
