I had a very good fishing session for garfish using flavoured maggots. They definitely worked a treat! Garfish can be finicky some times and if you try this for yourself, I would recomend doing it the same day you go fishing because the tuna oil may kill a few of your maggots over time. Dead maggots still catch fish though. In South Australia the bag limit for garfish is 30 and the minimum lenth is 23cm from the upper jaw to the end of the tail.
