In February 1993 an unprecedented crime shocked Britain and reverberated around the world. Denise’s son, two-year-old James Bulger was abducted from a shopping centre in Liverpool and brutally murdered by two 10-year-old boys.

This is the story of one of the most shocking cases in criminal history – of a mother who was thrust in to the spotlight and fought the justice system every step of the way and why after 15 years of bitterness and grief, she wants James’ memory to help others.
