Is an Average Pellet Rifle Deadly? .22 Pellet Rifle VS .22 Short

Testing out my new pellet rifle, the Stoeger S4000-E Suppressed .22 caliber, and comparing it to my Savage/Springfield 120A .22 LR/Long/Short rifle loaded with .22 Short ammunition. The .22 pellets are Crosman Premier copper washed 14.4 gr round nose. The .22 Short ammunition is CCI 29 gr CPRN. The pellet rifle has a velocity rating of 1,000 FPS with lighter than average alloy pellets (which normally equates to 800 FPS with standard weight lead pellets). The .22 Short ammunition has a muzzle velocity rating of 1,080 FPS. I am testing by chronographing both "rounds", as well as my normal Jug-or-Not ballistic test along with a pine board penetration test.
