GM Flint Complete Paint Shop By Gallagher-Kaiser

When GM committed to building a new paint shop for the Flint assembly plant, Gallagher-Kaiser (GK) was awarded the major project.

The project, which included a new building, as well as, new process equipment, began in 2014 and celebrated the first painted vehicle in 2016. GM Flint was the third new paint facility in North America (GM Orion & GM Fairfax) to use an environmentally friendly wet-coat paint process.

We are industry leaders in our safety metrics and work tirelessly to keep it that way. Gallagher-Kaiser completed this project with over 1,000,000 hours of safety, quality & craftsmanship.

In addition to the completion of complete turnkey paint shops at GM Orion, GM Fairfax, GM Flint, GM Fort Wayne and GM Bowling Green, Gallagher-­Kaiser is currently constructing GM Silao, Mexico and GM Arlington, Texas.
