Living in Sicily, Pros and Cons
1.CLIMATE is Mediterranean, dry in summer and mild in winter.It rains mainly in fall, summer temperatures reaching 35/40 .
2.FOOD is cheap, including the seafood.
3.BEACH is clean and the water is clear, except the month of August, as it is very crowded, the beach is full and the water is dirty.
Cons
1.TRANSPORTATION. It is not on time ,always delay, at least 20 minutes, sometimes do not come at all, no high speed trains in Sicily, only those old, slow trains, which takes forever to get to another city, do not mention the crosswalks, locals do not stop at all, you always gotta run, also they do not follow the rules and drive very fast.
2.SAFETY. Do not go out alone at night.
3.Low income and very high percentage of unemployment. 4.HYGIENE,CLEANESS. It is not clean .
5.RENT is affordable.The minimum price for the room 170 euro, not including utilities, (for utilities, approximately is 50 euro a month), a studio is 400 euro (it is the cheapest price ,only in downtown).
