Melbourne International Airport is also referred to as "Orlando Melbourne International Airport". The airport is located in Melbourne Florida, however it is NOT close to Orlando. ORLANDO is an hour drive.

One nice thing about MLB is that it is never very busy. So, getting through ticketing, bag check, and security never takes more than 30 mins.

The major airlines that server MLB are Delta and American. There is also Baer Air and Elite, but those are not major carriers.

There are several major rental car companies at Melbourne International Airport - Hertz, Avis, National to name a few.

Ground transportation is pretty easy too. Plenty of taxis. Uber and Lyft are permitted. This author frequently used Uber to/ from MLB.

Melbourne International Airport would be a good airport choice for destinations of Cocoa, Patrick AFB, Melbourne, Indialantic, Satellite Beach, Palmbay, and possibly Vero Beach.
