Rebuilding my own F Body T56 - Part 2 (Reassembly / synchronizer replacement)

In part 2 of this series I show how I replaced a few worn parts and figured out reassembly on my high mileage T56 with a little help from the manual below. This job went fairly smooth, but there are issues that can come up that I didn't get to cover in this video.
So before attempting your own rebuild, please do plenty of your own research so you can be prepared for the possibilities.

I purchased my gear and synchro sliders through: https://ampdistributing.com/
Carbon Fiber synchro rings from: https://www.ebay.com/str/synchrotechtransmissions

The proper 5/6 driven gear puller though difficult to find and very pricey is listed under Miller product numbers 9378, 9379 and 9382 (all three items needed for complete puller). Some people recommend fabricating your own puller taking a 3 jaw puller and extending it's reach with steel flat stock as shown here https://ls1tech.com/forums/manual-transmission/232746-anyone-find-place-sell-gm-5-6-gear-puller-t56.html

I planned on using this instead https://www.harborfreight.com/gear-puller-set-15-pc-62958.html?_br_psugg_q=gear+puller and increasing its reach using all thread rod. This would have been closer in practice to the proper tool, but I never got to try it out as my gear slid off by hand. Modifying tools can be dangerous, do so at your own risk...

Proper 5/6 driven gear installation tool https://www.freedomracing.com/9391a-gear-installer-9391.html or comparable fabricate it yourself tool.

I used this press and it worked great. A 12 ton might work as well, but the 20 ton has a little more room to work with.
