01-05-2021 Stevens Pass, WA - Major Winter Storm - Stuck 18-Wheelers - Great Plow Shots - Interview

Today on January 5th 2021 a strong atmospheric river is impacting Washington State. Paired with it is low enough #snow levels to bring a truly epic #winterstorm to the mountains. Stevens Pass, WA in particular is being hammered particularly hard. The rate of snowfall has been very heavy making for nearly whiteout conditions at times. There were many unprepared drivers who were completely caught off guard by the amazingly heavy snow. As I'm writing this, snow is still falling quite heavily. Truckers were especially caught off guard as they said the signs coming up did not reflect that chains were required. As a result they get stuck. Starting at minute mark 3:08 I interview one of the truckers who describes the situation.
