The Untitled Talk: Amr Mohamed at TEDxAUC

Amr is the global winner of the YouTube Space Lab competition; the global science competition that challenges 14 to 18-year-olds to design a science experiment that can be performed in space. YouTube Space Lab received thousands of video submissions from more than 80 countries, with only Amr in the finalists hailing from the MENA region. Amr is the now the regional winner of Europe, Middle East and Africa. Given the unique challenge of designing an experiment that could actually be carried out in space -- something that has traditionally been the mission of qualified astronauts and scientists, winning the YouTube Space Lab competition is considered a life time achievement.

Amr believes that no one is too young to be involved and encourages other young people to seize opportunities and take risks. He, also, is very passionate about science, technology and mathematics, and, believes that they are the ultimate tools that can be used to develop our country.
