Zuckerberg, Cook, Gates... Silicon Valley Tech CEOs Take Turns Meeting Trump at White House

US President Donald Trump on Thursday (September 4) hosted a high-profile dinner with more than two dozen technology executives in the newly renovated White House Rose Garden, where industry leaders lauded his administration's stance on artificial intelligence and business.

The guest list included Meta founder Mark Zuckerberg, Apple CEO Tim Cook, Microsoft founder Bill Gates, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman and Google executives Sundar Pichai and Sergey Brin.

Zuckerberg told Trump the companies were investing heavily in U.S. infrastructure, estimating Meta and its peers would pour more than $600 billion into data centers and innovation through 2028.

The event underscored a shift in Silicon Valley's relationship with Trump, once marked by clashes over regulation and content moderation but now recalibrated since his 2024 election victory.
