UAP Schumer Amendment UFO Disclosure Act 2023
Contact your representatives here:
https://newparadigmproject.org/uap-disclosure-act/
The Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena Disclosure Act of 2023 or what is commonly referred to as the Schumer amendment opens with this declaration:
“Credible evidence and testimony indicates that Federal government UFO records exist that have not been declassified.” Meaning this is real and this must pass so that we the people can finally see this evidence and testimony. AKA the proof we’re all waiting for.
It is backed by some big names such as Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, Senators Mike Rounds, Marco Rubio, and Kristen Gillibrand among others.
The 60 plus page amendment consists of 15 sections:
SEC. 9001. SHORT TITLE.
SEC. 9002. FINDINGS, DECLARATIONS, AND PURPOSES.
SEC. 9003. DEFINITIONS.
SEC. 9004. UNIDENTIFIED ANOMALOUS PHENOMENA RECORDS COLLECTION AT THE
NATIONAL ARCHIVES AND RECORDS ADMINISTRATION.
SEC. 9005. REVIEW, IDENTIFICATION, TRANSMISSION TO THE NATIONAL
ARCHIVES, AND PUBLIC DISCLOSURE OF UNIDENTIFIED ANOMALOUS
PHENOMENA RECORDS BY GOVERNMENT OFFICES.
SEC. 9007. ESTABLISHMENT AND POWERS OF THE UNIDENTIFIED ANOMALOUS
PHENOMENA RECORDS REVIEW BOARD.
SEC. 9008. UNIDENTIFIED ANOMALOUS PHENOMENA RECORDS REVIEW BOARD
PERSONNEL.
SEC. 9009. REVIEW OF RECORDS BY THE UNIDENTIFIED ANOMALOUS PHENOMENA
RECORDS REVIEW BOARD.
SEC. 9010. DISCLOSURE OF RECOVERED TECHNOLOGIES OF UNKNOWN ORIGIN AND
BIOLOGICAL EVIDENCE OF NON-HUMAN INTELLIGENCE.
SEC. 9011. DISCLOSURE OF OTHER MATERIALS AND ADDITIONAL STUDY.
SEC. 9012. RULES OF CONSTRUCTION.
SEC. 9013. TERMINATION OF EFFECT OF DIVISION.
SEC. 9014. AUTHORIZATION OF APPROPRIATIONS.
SEC. 9015. SEVERABILITY.
Let’s simplify it
1. Findings, declarations and purpose
2. UAP records collection
3. National Archives
4. Review board
5. Public disclosure
All federal records concerning UFOS should be immediately disclosed. This removes the over classification of these records due in part to the Atomic energy act of 1954.
Within 45 days a review board is appointed of a 9 citizen panel appointed by the President, and will consist of a wide range of distinguished persons of high national professional reputation in their respective fields. Including scientists, economists, historians, sociologists and foreign services.
This board will determine whether or not a record can be postponed and essentially come up with a plan of disclosure and they will have the power to enforce this.
In no later than 300 days heads of all government offices shall review, identify and organize their records for disclosure to the public, review by the review board and transmission to the national archives.
Any postponed records will be periodically reviewed by the board with the effort to declassify them. The review board must come up with a benchmark driven disclosure campaign plan for these postponed records with precise requirements and timing for disclosure to the public.
The current President will have the final authority to require the disclosure or postponement however, they are still subject to the same periodic review and recommended timeline by the panel.
Each record shall be publicly disclosed in full no later than 25 years since it’s original collection, meaning anything that’s now older than 25 years must be fully made public.
The Government shall also exercise eminent domain over any and all recovered technologies of
unknown origin and biological evidence of non-human intelligence that may be controlled by private persons or entities in the interests of the public good.
That was the Senate version of the amendment, here is the house version from Congressman Tim Burchett
It’s considerably shorter…
In essence within 180 days the secretary of defense shall declassify any DoD documents and records relating to publicly known UFO sightings.
This leaves a lot of wiggle room as it only covers publicly known sightings and relies on Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin to declassify records.
Call your representatives and tell them to back the Schumer amendment.
