Jewish Federations Help Vulnerable Seniors in Israel Receive Comfort and the Joy of Connection

With Jewish Federations' help, Israel's Amigour housing provides shelter and comfort for thousands of impoverished Israeli elderly – many of them Holocaust survivors. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, Amigour created new and innovative ways to serve the needs and brighten the lives of these vulnerable seniors.

The Jewish Federations of North America represent 146 Jewish Federations and over 300 Network communities across the U.S. and Canada. Together, we're one of the largest and most enduring networks of social services in North America. Day in and day out, we raise and distribute critical funds to support social welfare, social services, and educational needs – here at home, in Israel, and around the world. We connect people of all religious streams to Jewish life, help to care for those in need and work to ensure that the most vulnerable among us can live with dignity.
