I sat down at the piano tonight and played this song as softly as I could... in fact, some of the notes aren’t striking the strings. I kind of like it, and I build it a little throughout the song. Edelweiss was written by Rodgers & Hammerstein in 1959 for The Sound Of Music. A lovely song that gets requested a lot.
