Taking an overnight ferry in Japan, on a 12 hour trip from Kyushu to Kobe (the Hankyu ferry also runs to Osaka). It was like a mini cruise!

The Hankyu ferry is an overnight ferry in Japan that runs from Kitakyushu to Kobe. There's also a route from Kitakyushu to Osaka on the same ship. The video includes details of how to book the ferry online in advance, a room tour of the suite, prices, how to take the connecting bus from Kokura Station or Mojiko Station and a look around the ferry and all its facilities, including the restaurant, karaoke rooms, vending machines and areas to relax. At the end of the video, there's information about where to find details of other ferries in Japan, including the Sunflower Ferry. I think it was a fun and time-saving way to get from Kyushu to Kobe, and it cost less than the bullet train and a hotel.
