Making Sunbeams

Artist Becci Kenning takes us through the stages of creating three sun themed canvases She uses paint and tissue paper from warm colours (oranges, yellows, pinks, reds) and PVA glue mixed with water, sponges, brushes, string to create abstract canvases.

Fine art examples by G. F. Watts, Vincent Van Gogh, Mark Rothko, Liz West, Naata Nungarryi, Patrick Heron and Jackson Pollock are presented as examples before each canvas activity.

The video finishes with making a stretched out arm hand sunbeam from these canvases and putting them together for a classroom or wall display.
