Cuban Resorts - the Real Story

Cuba’s fancy resorts are stunningly beautiful – filled with white sandy beaches, mojitos, and oceanfront views. There’s nothing wrong with that, but it’s not the real Cuba. Cuban citizens are not welcome to resorts like Varadero so the only locals you’ll see are staff – all carefully vetted by the Cuban government for loyalty to the system.

So enjoy the Cuban resorts – but take a day or two to explore the other side of Cuba. You won’t regret it.
