Ever wondered what happens if you start your freelance video editing journey from absolute scratch? In this 5-minute video, I'll embark on a challenge to find clients and make $2000 without any video editing skills. Let's dive in and focus!

Step 1: Portfolio!

To be honest, besides my agency's portfolio, I had no personal one to showcase. So, instead of wasting time and money creating one from scratch, I opted for a clever shortcut. I reached out to skilled freelance video editors on Fiverr and used their portfolios. The result? Pure gold!

Step 2: Scratch-Hunting Clients with Facebook Marketing!

Utilizing Facebook marketing from my course (check the playlist link), I optimized my existing Facebook account, added professional logos to my friend list, and downloaded my favorite automation. Ready to see how this unfolds?

Step 3: Joining Niche Groups for Client Search!

Taking time to find effective keywords, I joined private groups related to doctors, fitness coaches, trainers, and vloggers. These groups not only always had work for video editors but also resonated with my personal interests.

1 DAY LATER...

After running the automation for a day and night, the results were shocking—zero replies! Was it all just cheap tactics that look good in videos but don't work in reality? Doubt began to set in...

15 days later:

After more than 15 days of continuous automation and joining additional groups, including those for marketing agencies, click funnels, and Facebook ads, did I manage to land any clients? The answer: not one... but thirteen! All the hard work paid off, proving that this strategy works.

Remember, the first message's response rate was not 20% but an incredible 70%, and now, for every 100 messages, I get 70 interested replies for portfolio reviews. Some clients even doubled their original rates for my freelancers!
