🧠 Objective:

To understand the connectivity of Raspberry Pi or Arduino with an IR sensor, and to develop an application that detects obstacles and notifies the user using LEDs.

💡 Working Principle:

The IR sensor emits infrared light.

When an obstacle is placed in front of the sensor, the light reflects back to the receiver.

The sensor output pin changes its state (from HIGH to LOW or vice versa).

The microcontroller (Raspberry Pi / Arduino) reads this signal and turns ON the LED to notify the presence of an obstacle.

When no obstacle is detected, the LED remains OFF.
