Dr. Harshinder Kaur, a Punjabi writer, paediatrician and an activist was born to Narinder Kaur and Pritam Singh (Prof.) in Patiala.
After doing M.D. (Paediatrics), she is serving at Rajindra Hospital, Patiala. She gives voice to the plight of women in our society. She is also running Harsh Charitable Trust to help the needy girls. She saves some time from her busy professional schedule and travels far and wide to give lectures for the cause of girl child and other social problems. I have talked with her on different topics of Punjab.
