**Update** Police have since arrested 3 people in relation to Angela's murder. In June 2020, after pleading guilty to the crime in February 2020, 45 year old Jeremy Powell was sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum non-parole period of 10 years. Powell's ex-girlfriend Rebecca Wright-Meldrum and a man, who has name suppression, are also charged with murdering Blackmoore - dates for their court appearances are yet to be released.

Police investigating the notorious #unsolvedmurder of a young mother nearly 24 years ago say they have received "information of interest" that they'll be following up.

#AngelaBlackmoore , 21, was 10 weeks pregnant when she was stabbed 39 times in her home in the east Christchurch suburb of Wainoni on August 17, 1995.

No-one has been arrested in connection with the killing.

A Stuff investigation – Dark Secret – revealed new details about the cold case including the names of several people who remain persons of interest to the inquiry. At the same time, police announced a $100,000 reward for information about the case and launched a tip line – 0800 22 1995.
